Lustrous, smooth and soft, baby Suri alpaca is wrapped around a silk core then brushed to produce a super softyarn with a light and airy halo. This yarn is wonderfully versatile and can be used in a wide range of projects. It knits up beautifully on its own on a wide range of needle sizes and can be used as a light DK through to chunky. Combine it with a fingering/sock weight or DK weight yarn to add warmth and texture without weight to jumpers, scarves and cowls. There is a generous 300 meters in every 50 gram hank so a little goes a long way.

All yarns have excess fibres (from production) that might come off as lint or shedding, in various amounts, depending on the fibres used and how the yarn is spun. Brushed yarns have more of these loose fibres than other yarns, and tend to shed more, so some shedding is to be expected with this yarn.
