Extra fine (19.5 micron) merino is used for these yarns. It feels super soft and gentle against the skin. These yarns are worsted spun from extra long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel. The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. Extra fine merino results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin. A very versatile yarn, it can be used for shawls, wraps, mittens, socks and light jumpers. Washable in cold water on a gentle cycle, it is also suitable for children's and baby clothes.

3.5 - 4.5 mm (US 4 - 7) and E - G Hook

Care Instructions:

Hand wash using a wool detergent, ideally below 30°C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat out of direct sunlight, do not spin or tumble dry.
