Extra fine (19.5 micron) merino is used for these yarns. It feels soft and gentle against the skin. These yarns are worsted spun from extra long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel. The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. Extra fine merino results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin. A very versatile yarn, it can be used for shawls, wraps, mittens and jumpers. Washable in cold water on a gentle cycle, it is also suitable for children's and baby clothes. Very soft and springy.

4.5 - 5.5mm (US 7 - 9) and H - I hook

Care Instructions:

Hand wash using a wool detergent, ideally below 30°C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat out of direct sunlight, do not spin or tumble dry.
