Medium grade, 27 micron superwash merino wool is combined with nylon for a very durable and springy sock yarn, designed for items that will be worn and washed a lot. Whilst not quite as soft as our signature extrafine 19.5 micron merino yarns, this yarn is fantastic for hard wearing socks, gloves and jumpers. Overall a great yarn for those looking for a soft yarn with maximum durability.

Suggested Needles/Hook Sizes:

2.5 - 4mm (US 1.5 - 6) and C-G Hook

28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions:

Hand wash using a wool detergent, ideally below 30°C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat out of direct sunlight, do not spin or tumble dry.
